How to play
- Pick 1 player (vs the machine) or 2 players on one screen.
- Turn with the arrows, WASD or a swipe. You never stop moving.
- Hitting a wall or any trail loses the round.
- Cut in front of the other rider to trap them. First to 5 wins.

- ← → ↑ ↓ or WASD turn (one player)
- WASD left rider, arrows right rider (two players)
- P pause
Touch
- Tap the left or right half to pick players
- One player: swipe anywhere to turn, or use the D-pad
- Two players: each swipes on their own half, both at once is fine
- Two players on the pad: the D-pad steers mustard, Left and Right turn plum

- A / Cross for action, B / Circle for secondary

Tips for a better score
- The machine weighs open space before every turn and rarely rides into a small pocket, so win by shrinking the room around it rather than racing it.
- In one-player, every second you survive adds a point, even in rounds you lose, on top of the 200 points each round win pays.
- Before sealing off the other rider, check you are not shutting yourself into the same pocket; whoever runs out of room first loses the round.
- You don't need to lift your finger between turns: each short slide counts as a swipe, so one continuous drag can steer a whole zig-zag.
About Light Trails
Light Trails is a duel on a dark grid. Two riders move without stopping, each leaving a solid line behind them, and they can only turn at right angles. Crash into a wall or any trail and you lose the round, so the game is about boxing the other rider in before they box you. Play the machine, which looks ahead and gets sharper and faster every round, or a friend on the same keyboard or screen. First to five rounds wins.
