How to play

  1. Drag back from anywhere, then let go to putt. The further you pull, the harder you hit.
  2. Sink the ball in as few strokes as you can. Each hole shows its par.
  3. Water puts the ball back where you hit from and adds one stroke.
  4. After eight strokes the ball is picked up. Finish all nine holes.

Tips for a better score

  • Bumpers fire the ball away faster than it arrived, while rails soften it, so plan your bank shots off the rails and give bumpers a wide berth.
  • Par earns 300 points, each stroke under par adds 100 and each stroke over takes 100 away, and a hole in one adds 500 on top.
  • Laying up short of water costs one stroke, but a splash costs two, because the putt still counts and you replay from the same spot.
  • Full power is a pull of only about a third of the screen's width, so keep pulls short near the cup and watch the power bar rather than your finger.

About Mini Putt

Mini Putt is a nine-hole mini golf course on bright green felt. Drag back from anywhere on the screen to aim, watch the dotted line and power bar, and let go to putt. The holes get trickier as you go, with bumpers that kick the ball, sand that slows it, water that costs you a stroke, slopes that push it sideways and moving gates you have to time. The ball only drops if it reaches the cup slowly, so a hard putt can roll straight over. Every hole pays more points the fewer strokes you take.
