Tips for a better score
- Open with E, A and O, then try R, S, T and N. Every word is a familiar one of five to nine letters, so common letters pay off.
- Each correct letter scores 20 for every time it appears, and a rescue pays 30 more for each wrong guess left spare, so clean words score far more.
- Don't come to rely on the free first letter. Only the first two words show one, and from the third word on every blank starts empty.
- On a keyboard, just type. A letter you have already tried is ignored, so a slip onto a used key never costs you a guess.
About Word Rescue
Word Rescue is a letter-guessing game with a twist: each wrong letter lets air out of the balloon holding your little friend up. Six wrong guesses and down they go. Guess the word to rescue them and move to the next, with fewer hints as you go.
