Scores can't be saved in this browser (private mode?). Play on.
How to play
- Tap the sky and the nearest base fires an interceptor to that spot.
- Its blast destroys any rocket it touches, so aim ahead of the rocket.
- Each base has 12 interceptors a wave; a base that gets hit is out until the next wave.
- Saved towns and spare interceptors pay a bonus. Lose all five towns and it’s over.

Tips for a better score
- An interceptor's blast takes about a third of a second to swell and then lingers briefly, so set it just below a rocket and let the rocket fall into it.
- Pink fast rockets and orange-ringed splitters score double, and the multiplier climbs every three waves until it reaches four times at wave 10.
- A rocket falling on a town that is already rubble does no harm, so let it land and spend interceptors on rockets aimed at something still standing.
- On a keyboard, Space fires from the nearest base with interceptors left, while Z always fires from the left base and X from the right.
About City Shield
City Shield puts five small towns and two launch bases under a dusk sky full of falling rockets. Tap anywhere above the ground and the nearest base fires an interceptor that bursts where you aimed, and any rocket caught in a blast goes off too, which can take its neighbours with it. Each base has twelve interceptors a wave, so aim where a rocket is going rather than where it is. Later waves bring faster rockets and rockets that split in mid-air. Towns you save and interceptors you don’t spend pay a bonus after each wave, a lost town is rebuilt every 7,500 points, and the game ends when the last town falls with no spare left to rebuild.
