Tips for a better score
- A tick crosses out the rest of its row and column for you, so place the pairings you are sure of first and read what falls out.
- Solving pays 25 points for every row in the puzzle, from 225 on the smallest grid to 600 on the largest, plus a point for each second left.
- A check costs 15 points and only says whether something is wrong, never what; a hint costs 40 and fills one square in correctly.
- Undo is unlimited, so trying a tick and taking it back costs nothing at all. Struck-out clues go grey, which keeps a long list readable.
About Logic Grid
Logic Grid is the pencil puzzle where a few people each own one of everything, and a short list of clues pins every pairing down. Tick a square and the rest of its row and column cross themselves out, which is the tedious part done for you. Tap a clue to strike it through once you have used it. Every puzzle is built fresh: clues are added until one arrangement is left, every clue that is not needed is thrown away, and a solver that only makes human deduction steps has to finish it before you ever see it, so there is never anything to guess. Puzzles grow from three people to four, and the clues get trickier as you go.
