Something not working in Moon Lander?
Scores can't be saved in this browser (private mode?). Play on.
How to play
- Burn the engine to slow your fall; tilt to steer sideways.
- Touch down on a pad slowly, with little sideways drift, sitting upright.
- The speed readouts turn green when a landing would be safe.
- Narrow pads pay more and leftover fuel adds a bonus; three crashes end the game.
Controls
Keyboard
- ↑ or Space fire the engine
- ← → tilt

- Or hold the middle of the screen to burn, the sides to tilt
Controller

- Start to pause
Tips for a better score
- Kill your sideways drift while you are still high, then come straight down over the pad; steering hard near the ground is what tips the capsule over.
- From the second moon the narrow pink pad pays 500, twice the wide green pad, and the fuel bonus never tops 200, so it is usually worth the extra flying.
- Don't hover: a full tank is only about six seconds of burn on the first moon and less on every moon after, so save the engine for the descent.
- Tilt keeps turning for a moment after you let go, so tap left or right in short bursts and wait for the TILT readout to turn green.
About Moon Lander
Moon Lander drops a small capsule over a jagged moon with only a tank of fuel between you and the rocks. Tilt it, feather the engine against gravity and settle onto a lit landing pad slowly and upright. Narrow pads pay a bigger landing bonus, from 250 on the widest to 500 on the narrowest from the second moon on, and every drop of fuel you save adds more. Each new moon is rougher and gives you less fuel, and from level 3 a gentle wind pushes you sideways. Crash three times and the mission is over.
