Tips for a better score
- Where the ball meets your paddle sets its angle. Catch it near an end to send it off steeply, or on the middle to fire it back flat.
- The saved score is the winner's points times 100 plus the loser's times 10, so a tense 7–6 finish scores 760 and a 7–0 rout only 700.
- Don't relax after a point. The ball blinks in the centre for a moment, then serves toward whoever just lost, so that player should be back in the middle.
- Keyboard paddles move at one steady speed, slower than the ball in a long rally, so start moving as it leaves the other paddle, not when it crosses halfway.
