How to play

  1. Drag your mallet around your half of the table.
  2. Move into the puck to hit it harder.
  3. Every goal you score speeds the opponent up.
  4. Concede five and the game ends.

Tips for a better score

  • Bank shots off the top or bottom rail. The machine steers toward where the puck is right now, so a late change of direction near its goal catches it out.
  • The table only closes after five goals against you, never for goals you score, so solid defence is what keeps the 150-point goals coming.
  • Don't chase the puck up to the halfway line. Returns come back quicker than they arrived, and a mallet left forward leaves your goal wide open.
  • With a mouse, no click is needed. The mallet follows the pointer and moves far quicker than the arrow keys, which suits fast returns.

About Air Hockey

Air Hockey puts you on the left side of a full table against a machine that speeds up. Drag your mallet to block, then drive through the puck to send it back — the harder you move into it, the harder it goes. Every goal you score makes the opponent quicker, so a long run gets genuinely difficult. Let five past you and the table closes.
