Tips for a better score
- Answer quickly. Every whole second left on a question is worth four points, which over twelve questions is worth more than a streak.
- All four tiles come from the region you picked, so eliminate by knowing the country rather than by how the name sounds.
- Seven right out of twelve keeps the run alive, so a region you know well is worth more than the whole world.
- Both-ways mode alternates at random between naming the capital and naming the country, which is harder than either on its own.
About Capital Quest
Capital Quest asks twelve questions about the world's capital cities. Pick a region — Oceania, Asia, Europe, Africa, the Americas or the whole world — and choose whether you are asked for the capital, for the country, or both ways about. Every wrong answer on the tiles comes from the same region, so a guess by continent never works, and each question has fifteen seconds on it with the time left paid as a bonus. Seven right out of twelve carries you into the next round with your score intact; the countries you missed are listed at the end. Places with a shared, moving or disputed capital are left out on purpose.
