How to play

  1. Drag anywhere to aim from the floor, then let go.
  2. Every touch takes one off a tile's number.
  3. A tile at zero breaks and scores.
  4. When your balls are home the wall steps down a row.
  5. The run ends when a tile crosses the bottom line.

Controls

Keyboard

  • ← → aim
  • Space fires
  • Space again for 3×
  • P to pause

Touch

Controller

  • D-pad or left stick to move
  • A / Cross for action, B / Circle for secondary
  • Start to pause

Tips for a better score

  • Aim so the stream slides up a side wall: a shallow angle into the wall makes every ball travel further and touch far more tiles.
  • The next turn fires from wherever the first ball came home, so watch the mustard marker and pick your angle before you let go.
  • Take the ringed pickups early. One more ball is worth far more on turn four than on turn twenty, because it works every turn after.
  • A wedge reflects on its diagonal, so clipping one from below sends the stream sideways across a whole row instead of straight back down.

About Ball Barrage

Ball Barrage is an endless aim-and-fire arcade game. A wall of numbered tiles sits at the top of the screen. Aim from the floor, let go, and a stream of balls pours out; every time a ball touches a tile its number drops by one, and a tile at zero breaks. Once every ball is home the wall steps one row closer and a fresh row arrives, so each turn is a race against the bottom line. Ringed pickups scattered between the tiles add a ball to your stream for good, so a run that starts with one ball can end with dozens. Tap while the balls fly to run the turn at three times the speed.
