How to play
- Stop the line sweeping across the board, then the one sweeping down.
- The dart lands where the two lines crossed, plus a small wobble.
- Three darts a turn, and your hand gets less steady with each one.
- In 501, take 501 to exactly nothing, finishing on a double.
- Around the clock: hit 1 to 20 in order, then the bull.

Tips for a better score
- Stop the sweeping vertical line, then the horizontal one; the dart lands where they crossed, give or take a small wobble. Left and Right move the aim marker.
- Steadiness falls with each of the three darts in a turn and comes back between turns, so your first dart of a turn is always the most accurate one.
- In 501 you must finish exactly on zero with a double or the inner bull. Going below zero, or leaving one, hands your whole turn's score straight back.
- Each leg won banks 700 points less six a dart, floor 200, plus 300 for the match; around the clock pays 60 a number, dropping eight a dart, floor 12.
About Darts
Darts is a proper board drawn to the real proportions: twenty segments running clockwise from 20 at the top, a thin outer ring that doubles, a thin inner ring that trebles, 25 in the outer bull and 50 in the inner. Throwing is two stops. A vertical line sweeps across the board and you stop it, then a horizontal line sweeps down it and you stop it; the dart lands where they crossed, give or take a small wobble that grows as your hand tires through the three darts of a turn. Play 501 against the machine or against a friend on the same screen, go around the clock from 1 to the bull, or just practise. Nothing else is left to chance.
