How to play
- Drag a piece from the tray onto the board.
- Fill a whole row or column to clear it.
- Several lines at once, or clears in a streak, multiply the points.
- Place all three for a new set; no room for any piece ends the run.
Controls
Keyboard
- 1 2 3 or Tab pick a piece
- ← → ↑ ↓ move it on the board
- Space or Enter places it

- Drag a piece onto the board; it rides above your finger
- Or tap a piece, tap where it goes, then tap again to place
- Pad: Pick chooses a piece, arrows move it, Place puts it down

Tips for a better score
- Clearing lines together pays far more than one at a time: a single line scores 10, two at once 40, three 90 and four 160, before the streak.
- Your streak survives two placements without a clear; a third in a row resets it, so line up your next clear before the dots under the multiplier run out.
- Keep a three by three gap and a long open line spare as long as you can: five-long bars and big corners turn up more often later in a run.
- A piece shown faded in the tray has no room anywhere right now, so place the others first and hope a clear opens a gap for it.
About Block Fit
Block Fit is a block puzzle game with no timer, played on an eight by eight board. Three pieces wait in the tray, from single squares to long bars, corners and zigzags, and you drag each one into place; a new set arrives once all three are down. Filling a whole row or column clears it, clearing several lines in one move is worth far more, and clears that keep coming build a streak that multiplies the points up to five times. Each new set is chosen to fit the board as it stands wherever possible, and the run ends only when none of the pieces left in the tray can go anywhere. Wipe the whole board in one move for a 300-point bonus.
