Something not working in Fleet Hunt?

How to play

  1. Shuffle your fleet or tap a ship to turn it, then press Ready.
  2. Take turns firing at the machine's sea; a hit doesn't earn another shot.
  3. A hit scores 10 and a sunk ship 50 more.
  4. Sink all five first to win a bonus for every shot you didn't need.

Controls

Keyboard

  • Z shuffle your fleet
  • ← → ↑ ↓ aim
  • Space ready, then fire
  • P pause

Touch

  • Tap a ship to turn it, then Ready
  • Tap a cell in the top sea to fire

Controller

  • D-pad or left stick to move
  • A / Cross for action, B / Circle for secondary
  • Start to pause

Tips for a better score

  • Search on a checkerboard pattern: the smallest ship is two squares long, so every ship must cover at least one square of that pattern.
  • Winning pays 500 plus 5 for each of the 64 squares you never fired at, so every shell you save is worth another 5 points.
  • Ships never touch, so don't fire diagonally next to a hit or anywhere around a sunk ship; those squares are always open water.
  • On a keyboard, the aiming square wraps round the edges, so pressing left from column A jumps straight across to column H.

About Fleet Hunt

Fleet Hunt is a duel of hidden ships on two eight-by-eight seas. Your five ships are placed for you, and you can shuffle them or tap one to turn it before the battle starts. You and the machine take turns firing one shell at a time: a hit sets a fire, a miss makes a splash, and a ship goes down once every section is hit. The machine hunts carefully and usually follows up a hit, so think about where ships can still hide. Sink the whole fleet in fewer shots for a bigger bonus.
