How to play

  1. Tap a free card to hold it, then tap another that makes thirteen with it.
  2. Ace is one, jack eleven, queen twelve, and a king is thirteen on its own.
  3. A card is free only when nothing overlaps it; a covered card says so when you tap it.
  4. Tap the stock to turn a card, or tap it once empty to start the next pass. Three passes in all.
  5. Take all twenty-eight cards off the pyramid to win.

Tips for a better score

  • Every pair is worth 10 points, plus 10 more for each whole row already cleared off the bottom, so the last pairs are worth 70.
  • Clearing the pyramid adds 300 points and 2 more for every second under five minutes; each extra trip through the stock costs 25.
  • The daily deal is always solvable because a solver checks it first. Practice deals are dealt at random, so plenty of them cannot be cleared.
  • Undo is unlimited and takes back stock turns as well. Clearing the daily adds a day to your streak; practice deals never count towards it.

About Pyramid Patience

Pyramid Patience deals twenty-eight cards face up in seven rows, each row laid across the one above it. A card is free once nothing covers it, and free cards leave in pairs that add up to thirteen: an ace is one, a jack eleven, a queen twelve, and a king is thirteen on its own. A stock of twenty-four sits underneath; turn it one card at a time and go through it three times in all. Clear the whole pyramid to win. The daily deal is the same for everybody until midnight and is proved clearable by a solver before it is dealt. Practice deals are random and carry no such promise.
