Something not working in Yacht?
Scores can't be saved in this browser (private mode?). Play on.
How to play
- Roll the five dice. You get up to three rolls a turn.
- Between rolls, hold any dice you want to keep; the rest are thrown again.
- Then score the roll in one empty box. The sheet shows what each box would pay.
- Fill all thirteen boxes. Reach 63 in ones to sixes for a 35 bonus.
- Today's dice are the same for everyone; your first finished game of the day counts.

Tips for a better score
- Scoring: ones to sixes pay the total of that number; three or four of a kind pay the total of all five dice; full house 25; small straight (four in a row) 15; big straight (five in a row) 30; yacht (five alike) 50; chance pays the total of all five.
- The upper bonus is 35 once ones to sixes reach 63, which is three of each number. Three fives or three sixes early keep you on course.
- Five alike is a yacht, not a full house, and a second yacht scores nothing extra once the yacht box is filled, so a spare yacht is best spent on four of a kind, sixes or chance.
- A score is final the moment it is written: there is no undo. When a roll fails, put a zero in a box you were unlikely to fill, such as the yacht or ones, rather than wasting chance.
About Yacht
Yacht is the old dice game of rolling for patterns. Each turn you throw five dice from a cream cup onto the felt, keep any of them in the tray and throw the rest again, up to three rolls, then write the result into one empty box on your score sheet. Ones to sixes, three and four of a kind, full house, small and big straight, yacht and chance: thirteen boxes, thirteen turns, and the sheet shows what every empty box would pay before you choose. Today's game deals the same dice to everybody, so the same choices meet the same rolls and your total is a fair thing to compare; your first finished game of the day is the one that counts, and replays are practice. There is also endless solo practice and pass-and-play for two to four players on one device.
