How to play

  1. Tap a card, then tap the column it should go on. Or drag it there.
  2. Tapping a card part way down a run picks up that card and everything below it, as long as they are one suit in order.
  3. Double-tap a card to send it to the best place: its own suit first, then any card one higher, then an empty column.
  4. Tap the stock at the top right to deal a new row when you are stuck. Fill every empty column first.
  5. A run from king to ace in one suit lifts off by itself. Lift all eight to win. Hint shows a move that still leads to a win.
  6. Before your first move, pick Daily, 1 suit, 2 suits or 4 suits on the switch under the columns.

Touch

Controller

  • D-pad or left stick to move
  • A / Cross for action, B / Circle for secondary
  • Start to pause

Tips for a better score

  • Turn face-down cards over first. A hidden card is the one you cannot plan around.
  • An empty column is the strongest thing on the table. Use it to untangle a column, then fill it again before you deal.
  • In two and four suits, prefer putting a card on its own suit: a mixed pile has to be taken apart one run at a time.
  • Points: each cleared run pays 100 in one suit, 150 in two and 200 in four. A win adds 500, a point for every second under fifteen minutes and 2 for every move under 300. Each hint costs 40.
  • The daily keeps counting moves when you undo, so its result shows how the solve really went. Practice undo takes the move back off the count.

About Suit Runs

Suit Runs is card patience with two packs. Fifty-four cards go into ten columns with only the bottom card of each face up, and the other fifty wait in the stock at the top right. Any card goes on a card one rank higher, whatever its suit, and any card or run can fill an empty column. Only cards that run down in one suit move together, and a full run from king to ace in one suit lifts off by itself. Clear all eight runs to win. When you run out of moves, tap the stock to deal ten more cards, one on each column: five deals in all, and every column must be filled first. Play the Daily deal in one suit, the same for everybody until midnight, or Practice deals in one, two or four suits. A solver proves every deal can be won before you see it, so a stuck game always has a way out: undo and try another line.
