How to play
- Pick 1 player (vs the machine) or 2 players on one device.
- Tap one of your pits: its pebbles hop anticlockwise, one per pit.
- Last pebble in your store: go again. In an empty pit of yours: capture.
- When a side runs dry the rest go home. Most pebbles wins.

Keyboard
- 1: one player, 2: two players (or ← → and Space)

- Space or Enter sows it, and skips the sowing
- P pause
Touch
- Tap the left or right card to pick 1 or 2 players
- Tap one of your pits to sow it; tap again to skip the sowing
- Or use ◀ ▶ on the pad to choose a pit and Sow to sow it
- Two players: pass the device; player 2 owns the top row
Controller
- D-pad or left stick to move
- A / Cross for action, B / Circle for secondary

Tips for a better score
- Count before you sow: a pit holding exactly as many pebbles as steps to your store drops its last one there and gives you another turn.
- A won round pays ten points per pebble in your store, twenty per pebble of margin, plus 100 for every round already behind you.
- Watch your pits that sit opposite a big pile: empty one, then land a last pebble in it to capture the whole pile. The machine hunts the same trick.
- With the mouse or the arrow keys, the pit you point at shows a dashed ring where its last pebble will land, and whether that captures or goes again.
About Pebble Pits
Pebble Pits is the traditional two-row sowing game: six pits a side, a store at each end and four pebbles in every pit. Pick one of your pits and its pebbles hop anticlockwise one per pit, into your own store but never your opponent’s. Land the last pebble in your store to go again, or in an empty pit on your side to capture it and the pit opposite, so long as that pit has pebbles in it; when one side runs dry, the rest go to their owner. Play the machine, which looks further ahead every round you win until one lost round ends the run, or pass one device between two players.
