Something not working in Patience?

How to play

  1. Tap a card to send it to the best place it can go, or drag it (with any cards on top) yourself.
  2. Columns build down in alternating colours; only a king can start an empty column.
  3. Tap the deck to turn over a card, and tap the empty deck to go through it again.
  4. Before your first move, tap the Daily / Practice chip in the top bar to switch between today's deal and a random one.
  5. Build all four suits from ace to king to win. The faster you finish, the bigger the bonus.

Controls

Keyboard

  • ← → ↑ ↓ move between piles
  • Space pick up / place (twice sends it home)
  • Z draw a card
  • C undo
  • M switch Daily / Practice before the first move
  • P pause

Touch

  • Tap a card to move it to its best spot
  • Drag a card or a run onto another column
  • Tap the deck to draw; the Daily / Practice chip, Undo and End sit at the top

Controller

  • D-pad or left stick to move
  • A / Cross for action, B / Circle for secondary
  • Start to pause

Tips for a better score

  • Uncover face-down cards before anything else: every flip is worth 5 points and opens new moves, so favour plays from the columns hiding the most cards.
  • The clock counts down from 15 minutes, and every second still showing when the last suit is built adds 2 points to a flat 200 bonus.
  • The daily deal can always be won under the same draw-one rule you play, so if it stalls, undo and try another line. Clearing it adds a day to your streak; practice deals never count.
  • On a keyboard, press up while on a column to reach deeper into its face-up run, then Space lifts that whole stack in one go.

About Patience

Patience is the seven-column card solitaire. Build each suit from ace up to king on the four piles at the top. On the table below, stack cards downward in alternating red and black, and move whole runs at once to dig out the face-down cards underneath. Draw one card at a time from the deck and go through it as often as you like. Play the Daily deal, the same for everybody until midnight and proved winnable by a solver before it is dealt, or switch to Practice for a fresh random deal that carries no such promise. Finish quickly for a bigger time bonus.
