Fortune Ball

Ask a yes-or-no question. Shake. Accept your fate.

About Fortune Ball

A fortune-telling ball with an arcade twist. Ask a yes-or-no question, shake the ball, and get an answer from the void.

Type a yes-or-no question, shake the fortune ball and it picks one of twenty answers at random. Eight lean yes, six lean no and six dodge the question, some with an arcade sense of humour.

Your question isn't saved anywhere. It appears beside the answer, ready for a screenshot, and the box takes up to 120 characters. You can even shake without typing anything.

Ways to use it

  • Ask whether to order takeaway tonight and let the ball make the call.
  • Pass it round at a sleepover and take turns asking silly questions about the future.
  • Break a stalemate over a small decision when a coin flip feels too plain.
  • Use it as a playful fortune teller at a party or a classroom reward break.

Questions

Are the fortune ball answers random?

Yes. Each shake picks one of twenty answers at random, and the words you type don't change the odds. The same question can get a different answer next time.

What are the chances of getting a yes?

Eight of the twenty answers lean yes, so about 40 per cent. Six lean no, and six won't commit either way.

Does it save my questions?

No. Your question is only shown next to the answer on screen and is never stored on your device.
