Perfect Circle

Draw a circle by hand. Get scored. Try again forever.

About Perfect Circle

Draw a circle around the dot in one stroke with your finger or mouse and get a percentage for how round it is. Deceptively hard, strangely addictive.

A draw a perfect circle test with a twist: your circle is measured around the dot in the middle. It checks how evenly every point of your stroke sits from that dot, and how much of the full turn you covered.

Leaving a gap between the start and end of your line costs points, and so does a tiny circle. Very short strokes aren't scored. Your best percentage is saved in this browser.

Ways to use it

  • Settle an office argument about who has the steadiest hand on the team.
  • Take a two-minute break between tasks and try to beat your best percentage.
  • Warm up before drawing or handwriting practice with a few slow, careful circles.
  • Pass the phone round at a party and see who can crack 90 per cent.

Questions

How is the perfect circle score calculated?

It measures how evenly your stroke stays the same distance from the centre dot and how much of a full loop it covers. Gaps between the ends and very small circles lose points.

Why is my circle scoring low?

Make sure you draw around the dot rather than off to one side, and join the ends. The score is based on each point's distance from that dot.

Can I draw the circle with my finger?

Yes. Use a finger on a phone or tablet, or a mouse or trackpad on a computer. Your best score is kept in this browser.
