How to play

  1. Each number is a run of filled cells in that row or column, in order.
  2. Tap a cell to fill it, tap again to mark an X, tap again to clear.
  3. Drag along a row or column to paint several cells at once.
  4. Solve before the clock runs out: time left becomes bonus points.
  5. From level 2 your level is kept, even when time runs out: Continue picks up from there.

Tips for a better score

  • Start with the biggest clues: a run of 4 in a five-cell line always covers the middle three cells, and a 7 in a ten-cell line covers four.
  • Solving pays 10 points per cell plus 5 for every second left, so on a 10×10 grid a quick finish can nearly double what the picture is worth.
  • A clue dims as soon as its run lengths match, even if the cells sit in the wrong place, so check the crossing lines before trusting it.
  • In MARK X mode, drag along a row to cross out its empty squares; a drag skips squares already filled, so nothing you have solved gets wiped.

About Picture Logic

Picture Logic is a number-clue puzzle with a hidden picture inside. Every row and column lists the lengths of its runs of filled cells, in order, so 3 1 means three filled cells, a gap, then one more. Work out which cells must be filled and the grid becomes a heart, a boat or a rocket that ripples into colour when the last cell lands. Grids grow from 5×5 to 10×10 and each puzzle has its own clock. Let one run out and the run is over.
